Research Progress of Bacillus coagulans Regulating Gut Health

As a probiotic with high tolerance,Bacillus coagulans,with the function of regulating human gut health,has become a hot research field at home and abroad over the past decade. In this paper,the microbial characteristics,the function of regulating gut health in host,and the clinical applications of Bacillus coagulans were described. The development directions of Bacillus coagulans in the regulation of gut health in host were also discussed.
