Bioactivities and applications of collagen tripeptides:A review

Collagen is the most abundant protein in nature. Researching deeply and improving collagen value are meaningful. Collagen tri-peptides(CTPs),containing of three amino acids,are derived from hydrolysation of collagen and have lots of bioactivities and relatively high application value. The type of CTPs and their absorption,bioactivities,and applications are reviewed in this article. We hope this review can benefit for the value-added development of collagen and widely application of CTPs.
