Advance in studies on extraction process and biological activity of flavonoids in bee products

  • Flavonoids, which are abundant in bee products, have versatile biological activities such as anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory etc..The flavonoids extracted from bee products can be developed into new types of food, medicines, healthy products, which are beneficial for human health. This article reviewed recent extraction and separation processes and related researches on the biological activity of flavonoids in bee products, designed to provide some technical supports for future studies.
