Abstract
The influences of controlled atmosphere storage on surface color and nutritional qualities of hemerocallis citrina baroni were studied, the ratio of oxygen and carbon dioxide was regulated to 5% ± 0.1% and 4% ± 0.1% 、7% ± 0.1% 、10% ±0.1%, respectively. The hemerocallis citrina baroni was stored at different time and the storage temperature was ( 0 ± 1) ℃ and the relative humidity was 95% ~ 98%.The results showed: the degradation of chlorophyll was inhibited and the loss rate of nutrients was delayed at suitable controlled atmosphere environment.Compared to air environment, the significant differences were found at the total chlorophyll content, VCcontent, soluble protein content. The slight differences were found at the b*value, carotenoid content, soluble sugar content when the ratio of oxygen was 5% ± 0.1% and the ratio of carbon dioxide was ( 7% ± 0.1%) ( 10% ± 0.1%) of the whole storage period. The controlled atmosphere group was significantly higher ( p <0.05) than the air control group at later storage period for the a*value.
