Aluminum migration from aluminum- plastic composite packaging to food simulants

  • The method for the migration of aluminum in food simulants by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry( ICP- MS) was proposed. The aluminum- plastic composite packaging materials were soaked single contacting with food simulants( 3%( w / v) acetic acid, water) at 27 ± 2,45,70 ℃ for migration. The contents of Al in food simulants were determined by ICP- MS. The results showed that the largest migration content of Al was increased with the migration time extended. At experiment temperature range, the migration of Al was increased with temperature till the migration equilibrium. This method was suitable for the detection of aluminum in the food composite packaging.
