Applied three methods to observe biofilms of Vibrio parahaemolyticus

  • Methods(crystal violet staining,fluorescence microscope,scanning electron microscope) were applied to observe biofilms of Vibrio parahaemolyticus(Vp8 and Vp32) at 4℃,in order to lay a foundation for the further study of Vibrio parahaemolyticus under the condition of low temperature. The results showed that Vp8 could be considered as strong biofilm producers while Vp32 was negative. Conclusion:Each method had its advantages and disadvantages,thus an appropriate method could be selected depending on the condition of laboratory or the study demanding.
