Modification of the macroporous resin for purifying resevratrol in Polygonum cuspidatum

Abstract
To synthesize a more suitable macroporous resin for purifying resevratrol in Polygonum cuspidatum.The best resin NKA-II,selected in five kinds of macroporous resins by their adsorption and desorption properties to resevratrol,was chloromethylated and grafted with aniline. After purifying the sample extract with NKA-II-aniline resin,the adsorption and desorption capacity to resveratrol were obviously enhanced. When the sample extract at pH=4,the concentration of resveratrol was 0.10mg·m L-1,adsorption time of 300 min and elute solution of 60% ethanol,the adsorption rate increased from 87.62% to 95.85%,the desorption rate increased from88.75% to 92.19%. The results indicated that the new NKA-II-aniline resin may be a promising macroporous resin for the separation and purification of resveratrol in Polygonum cuspidatum.
