Study on the conditions of extracting oleanolic acid and ursolic acid from residue of Chaenomeles speciosa (Sweet) Nakai

  • To optimize the extracting technology for oleanolic acid and ursolic acid from residue of Chaenomeles speciosa (Sweet) Nakai. The orthogonal test was based on single factor and used to optimize oleanolic acid and ursolic acid with detecting the targeted component index by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) . It showed that the best extraction conditions were as follows:the solvent concentration 95% ethanol, the ratio of materials to solution 1∶15 (g∶m L) , the extracting time 50 min, the extracting temperature 70℃, and the yield was 1.607%. The method of extracting by the experiment was stable and reliable, and easy to operate, and the result could provide reference data for industrial production of extracting OA and UA from Chaenomeles speciosa (Sweet) Nakai.
