Effect of fats from Tenebrio molitor on weight,learning and mnemonic abilities of mice

To investigate the effect of different doses of Tenebrio molitor fats( 0.0095,0.019,0.029 m L /( g·d)) on weight gaining,learning and mnemonic abilities,KM mice were intragastric administrated during 30 days 'fats,through using electronic balance and Morris water- maze. Results showed that the weight of mice in group experienced was significantly decreased than those in contrast group,especially with middle dose group adding the least weight( p < 0.01).The period of mice intragastric administrated different doses of Tenebrio molitor fats was found 10.1% ~53.2% shorter than that in the contrast group,together with an increased reactive times of 2.7% ~64.3% in the Morris water- maze.In addition,those mice with moderate dosage fat performed significant difference( p < 0.05),both in the incubation period and the reactive times.It suggested that the fats from Tenebrio molitor could restrain mice's weight growing and enhance their learning and mnemonic abilities which was significantly associated with the dosage intragastric administrated,of which moderate dosage( 0.019 m L /( g·d)) was thought to be the most appropriate. In conclusion,the further development and utilization of Tenebrio molitor could find a theoretical basis from this research.
