Abstract
This study was carried out to characterize the hepatoprotective activity and acute toxicology of compound peanut peptide oral liquid.According to acute toxicity test, the oral liquid was safe. After the administration of carbon tetrachloride in traperitoneally, the biochemical indices in blood and liver were tested. The middle does group and high does group could decrease obviously the content of ALT、AST、and LDH in blood ( p < 0.05) , increase SOD and GSH- PXactivities in liver ( p < 0.05) . The ALT、AST、and LDH content in blood of the middle does group were significant lower than peanut peptide group ( p < 0.05) , and SOD and GSH- PXwere significant higher than peanut peptide group ( p < 0.05) . There were no significant difference between the dandelion extract group and model group. The experimental results showed that the compound peanut peptide oral liquid had significant protective effects on experimental liver injury mice, and the effect was better than pure peanut peptide and dandelion extract.
