Study on extraction process of Enteromorpha polysaccharide by high-speed shear technique

HSDE ( High- speed Shear Dispersing Emulsifier) - assisted extraction of Enteromorpha polysaccharide was investigated by examining the effects of treatment time, HSDE speed, the ratio of water to raw material and extraction times on polysaccharide yield using single factor method coupled with orthogonal array design.Results showed that the optimum extraction conditions were obtained as follows: the ratio of water to raw material 50 ∶1, HSDE speed 12000 r /min, treatment time 80 s and extraction times 3.In conclusion, HSDE- assisted extraction is a good strategy that can improve the extraction conditions of Enteromorpha polysaccharides.
