Abstract
To purify carotenoids from Chinese wolfberry skins by resins, the static adsorption and desorption performances were investigated among HP20, S-8, AB-8, D101 and X-5 resins. The experimental results showed that X-5 resin under the condition of adsorption time 120 min, pH4, 45℃ had the highest adsorption rate of 421μg /g, the desorption rate of ethyl acetate used as desorption solvent was 81.7 %.When sample flow rate was fixed as1.5~4.5mL /min, macroporous resin could reach 8 times bed volumes ( 160mL) .Under similar conditions the dosage of eluent as 7.5 times bed volumes ( 150mL) .Freundlich and Langmuir equations were used to model the adsorption isotherms at equilibrium in the range of 25~45℃, the result showed that the Freundlich model fit the experimental date adequately.
