Abstract
Absorption of the cadmium of hydrolyzate from Pinctada martensii whole organ by attapulgite-chitosan complex was studied. The effects of vibration time, pH, vibration speed and compound dosage (attapulgitechitosan) of attapulgite-chitosan on cadmium removal rate and GAG yield were investigated through single factor assay, and the conditions of removing cadmium were optimized by response surface method. The optimum conditions of removing cadmium in GAG were 143.0r/min of speed of vibration and pH7.0, processing for 31.0min with 13.0mg/mL dosage of attapulgite-chitosan. Under this condition, cadmium removal rate reached76.9%, GAG yield reached 47.1%.
