Abstract
Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) biosensors are very powerful tools for the study of biomolecular interaction, chemical detection and immunoassays. This paper reviewed the application of SPR biosensors in the determination of microorganism, drug residues, allergen, addictive and marine biotoxins in food. Recent research progress related to the application of SPR biosensors would be greatly helpful for the development of safe and healthy foods.
