Abstract
Red adzuki bean contains many nutritional ingredients that includ five ring three terpene saponins, flavonoids, tannins etc. At present, it is mainly as a common food for human consumption. Its many activities had not be realized and applied fully. The latest research on extraction and health care function active ingredients from red phaseolus bean had been summarized. The aim was to provide a reference for the development and utilization of flavonoids of puerarin as new resources of health foods.
