Research progress of mechanical damage in postharvest fruits and vegetables

The main tapes and properties of mechanical damage in postharvest fruits and vegetables together with the related studies were discussed.The different loading forms such as static pressure, vibration, impact damage as well as their developments were summarized.Other factors affecting the mechanical damage of postharvest fruits and vegetables were also discussed.Finally, relative suggestions and existing problems were given.
