Research on the application of different methods in the clarification of Polygonatum extract

Effects on clarifying of Polygonatum water extract by using two different clarifying technologies were studied.Results showed that the optimum parameters of chitosan were:3% adding amount, water bath an hour in the condition of 50℃ by single factor and orthogonal experiments.The optimized parameters micro-filtrated clarifying were:micro-filtrated extraction liquid by 0.5μm aperture of ceramic membrane.These two clarifying technology could both effectively keep the active component such as Polysaccharides and Saponins of Polygonatum water extract and had simple operation which can improve the stability of Polygonatum water extract.
