Abstract

The extraction of xylose from bamboo residue was studied. The optimum process based on the single factor and orthogonal test was as the following:the temperature was 120℃, the concentration of sulfuric acid was 1.2%, the time hydrolysis was 3h, the material-solution ratio was 1∶6, the extraction yield was 21.56%.
